The Agriturismo in Maremma of the Nocentini/Maccherini family has lived and produced in this splendid part of Maremma for almost a century. Always closely linked to the peasant and entrepreneurial tradition of this land, they began the production of cereals in the early 1940s, to which was then added the care and breeding of the famous Chianine.
The farmhouse dating back to the mid-19th century, with an architecture that blends harmoniously with the surrounding area, together with the annexes built over time that seem part of the natural landscape, was owned by Leopoldo di Lorena and chosen as the logistics site for the reclamation of the Maremma.
The family was often the subject of visits from friends and relatives that lasted for long periods, which is why the new generation understood that their natural heritage could be shared with anyone who wanted to breathe the true magic of the Uccellina Natural Park.
Then the projects, then the works, then the birth of a dream immersed in the greenery of a wild and true nature. Now guests can enjoy two charming farmhouses and three annexes divided into rooms with services and comforts. A large swimming pool (14×7 m) is available to guests, with its sun loungers immersed in the silence and scents of the Maremma. At the Giuncola you can find a generous and welcoming fireplace in front of which you can read a good book or sip a good Morellino di Scansano in the company of other guests.
The restaurant room was created from the stable, from which you can admire the surrounding countryside, where you can enjoy unique dishes!
