The farmhouse in maremma of the Nocentini/Maccherini family, from also a century, lives and produces in this wonderful part of the Maremma. It had always been tied up to the farmer and business tradition, in ’40 started the production of cereals, to which it has been added the care and breeding of the Chianina.
The house in the centre of their world come from the middle ‘800, with an architecture that perfectly fit with the environment with the several annexes built throughout the time which seem to be part of the environment, property of Leopoldo from Lorena and chosen as a logistic office of the Maremma’s reclamation.

The cultivation of fruits and vegetables of Giuncola&Granaiolo farmhouse in Maremma, left space to cereals which fill the earth with suggestive colours in every season of the year.
The family was often visited by friends and family who remained for long and healthy periods.
This is why the new generation learned that the family’s natural and peaceful heritage would have been shared with anybody that would be able to breathe the real magic of the Uccellina Natural Park..
So, the projects, so the work and so the birth of a gigantic dream in the green of a true and wild nature. Now the clients may enjoy two farmhouses rich of glamor and three depandances divided in rooms with service. A green park with more the 120ha with a pool and a wide restaurant, where the cooking traditions live of the typical kitchen of Tuscany and Maremma, able to fascinate the mouth and the hearth of people.

Senatore Cappelli durum wheat
Today the business dedicates with passion to the cultivation of the Senatore Cappelli durum wheat, appreciated due to the bread and pasta preparation which creates a fantastic flavour. Apart from its organoleptic characteristics and its yellow colour, the flour of this durum wheat has a high protein value. The original wheat had been the last cultivation obtained by mixing other varieties.
